Since starting photography I saw a side of myself that I hadn't seen before, and I fell in love with the idea of creating images that evoke emotion.
Throughout my life I had always been frustrated by the level of skill my family members had in their respective fields. My father and Grandfather being very skilled tradesmen, always being able to create useful things or make a home feel like its own with their custom designs. Seeing this level of know-how and mastership over a craft made me want something for my own that I could be proud of. Over the course of my teens I tried my hand in many different trades and skills and just either couldn't wrap my head around it or wasn't enjoying it.
I graduated Police Foundations at Niagara College in 2014 and started to gain experience in the security field up until the point of attending the Niagara College Digital Photography program. I spent a large portion of my time in security as a supervisor for bar security in two popular St. Catharines and Thorold bars.

The thought of running my own business drove me to work harder and really understand some of the key elements of photography. Many days after class throughout the year, Luke and I would just sit in the office of the profs of the Digital Photography program Stephen and Grace and just batter them with question after question -- always attempting to learn more even after school was out for the day.
Being a student of photography I realize the importance of always learning and always trying new things. Having one more year to finish at Niagara College excites me just as much as having this business and I'm sure both will be a blast to experience. To me, photography is a way to express some kind of beauty whether it's a person or a thought -- just expressing that is a process I'd like to take part in as a career and way of life.
